Neil Bertrand, MBA
Chief Operating Officer
Neil Bertrand serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Zen Living Management. In this capacity, he is responsible for property management and asset management of the firm’s $550M+ portfolio. Neil brings over 25 years of diverse multifamily experience to Zen Living, has worked with four NMHC Top 50 firms and has held executive positions in property management, asset management, and acquisitions. Over the course of his career, Neil has been involved in the acquisition, development, operations and disposition of conventional, senior housing, and tax credit assets across multiple states. Prior to joining Zen Living, Neil worked with private equity firm Lloyd Jones, LLC and developer REIT Group, where he was involved in a $1.4 billion mixed-use development project. Neil has been a guest speaker and panelist at numerous industry conferences including IMN and Crittenden. He holds the Accredited Residential Manager designation and is a Certified Property Manager Candidate through the Institute of Real Estate Management. He is also a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor through the National Apartment Association. Neil holds a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, magna cum laude, from Liberty University and an MBA from Texas Wesleyan University.
